With the presentation date fast approaching i think we have a solid structure to work around. Tomorrow we are meeting in the Learning centre again and will hopefully leave the session with a clear idea of what slides we will have in our powerpoint presentation and the dialogue we will need for our "Question Time" styled debate. Our roles in the debate have been specified and are as follows:
Me: Presenter. Deals with introductions and opens the 'show' with audience interaction.
Irene: Jean Baudrillard. Acts as Baudrillard and argues his theory in the debate on terrorism
Scott: Donald Rumsfeld. Argues that the U.S.A are in Iraq to defend their country against terrorist attacks.
Kimberley: Iraqi Citizen. Suggests the American soldiers aswell as her own Government terrorise the Iraqi public.
I think our idea is unique and will be a nice change for the people watching, and marking, because it transgresses the expectactions of what a presentation should be and im eager to show the class what we have come up with.
